Binh Thanh Acient Tower
Binh Thanh ancient tower - characteristic of Oc Eo culture is one of the rare surviving towers in the Southeast region. The tower was named Binh Thanh Ancient Tower, because it is located on the right bank of the Vam Co Dong River in Binh Phu Hamlet, Binh Thanh Commune, Trang Bang District, Tay Ninh Province.
Binh Thanh Ancient Temple was built of bricks with the same technique as the famous Thap Cham temples in Central Vietnam. This construction technique has been lost and it remains a challenge to science. The bricks are bonded together by unknown adhesive. They are so close together that there are still people who think that the ancients laid bricks and burnt the tower. Of course, it is due to misconceptions and misperceptions, but it is clear that such method - construction technique is unique, unprecedented, has made the whole world admire.
The tower was discovered by Indochina Research Association in 1886 and ranked as an artistic architectural monument in 1993. In 1999, Binh Thanh ancient tower was restored.
