Day 1 – Saigon arrival (D)
Welcome to Vietnam’s financial hub: Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Arrive in the late morning and enjoy an orientation tour through Saigon’s bustling streets en route to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to recover from jet lag and explore the city on your own.

Day 2 – Saigon city - Cu Chi (B)
Have breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up for a day tour ahead.
We drive to Cu Chi Tunnel which is only 70km from the center of Saigon. This place was called “Iron Triangle” by American during the war and actually it stood as a stronghold of Vietcong (Vietnamese Army) for almost 30 years despite of many American bombs and military actions. A walk underground the tunnels will help you understand how the Vietnamese people had fought and won the war.
This afternoon, you will visit Ho Chi Minh City:
Gain an insight into the city’s development through a walking tour to the most significant landmarks including the Opera House, the Town Hall, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office in the French quarter before visiting the Reunification Palace outside and the War Museum continuing with the visit to the Tan Dinh market and the holly Jade Emperor Pagoda, put the end to the tour by the learning of making lacquer at the handicap- handicrafts Lacquerware Factory ( this option is flexible if time permits, please advise your Tour Guide during the tour). Overnight in Saigon.
Day 3 – Saigon - Vung Liem (B,L,D)
Transfer to Trung Nghia - Vung Liem within 3 hour drive via Bentre and 4 hours through Vinh Long province by your own arrangement. Upon arrival, you will meet a representative and you are led to the lodge along countryside path. After just a short walk you will be treated to a welcome drink. Check in and have lunch at lodge's restaurant
After a chance to rest, you walk around village paths leading us to local home where you watch how he makes pop rice, shows you the blend of traditional and modern agricultural method that sustains the local village. He will reveal the secret of making 'rice pop'. This unique and nutritious foodstuff will become a gift for locals or children in school. Your guide explains how the animals are raised and shows you the way they collect 'biogas' to make free and sustainable cooking food.
Walk back to Lodge, select bicycles for a cycling tour in the afternoon on quiet village roads passing by a duck farm, green rice paddies, sedge field and small villages. Along the way, you visit one of the many dragon fruit plantations and taste it directly at the garden. This is a relaxing time with plenty of chances to capture the picturesque Asian sun set scenes. Enjoy the beautiful sunset before returning to the lodge on your bicycles.
After shower and refresh, you start to walk to neighbor home and enjoy a "poon" lights while traditional musical performance by war veteran artist. Then, experience of traditional torches made of dried coconut leaves to get back.
You are the chef! A traditional cooking class with Vietnamese pancake made. A great learning experience that means you can take a little of Vietnam home with you. Dinner is served at lodge's restaurant
Day 4 – Vung Liem - Can Tho (B,L)
After breakfast, loaded boats are already heading to local market and transporting goods such as coconuts from one factory to the other, crossing local ferry to visit beautiful Cao Dai temple. We also had a chance to see these factories. Situated alongside the river, these are small coconut-processing operations. Once the coconut has been shelled, the coconut fibers are removed from the husk to make rope, which in turn is used to weave rugs. You can watch the whole manufacturing process in a short period of time. Most of the work is done by hand at very low cost. The buyers are mostly foreign companies.
Back to the Lodge, if time permitted, take some activities as to harvest some water coconut leaves and weave them up by you. These leaves are a key building material in the Mekong Delta as they are used to build the walls and roof of the houses. The local people will show you not only how they use these leaves but also how to make the 'poon' sticks that illuminated last night with musical performance.

Day 5 – Can Tho - Saigon (B)
Enjoy a morning boat cruise to the Cai Rang Floating Market which is full of small boats and vessels that deliver goods from all parts of the Mekong Delta. You will have a chance to observe lively activities of merchants trading their produce. Continue cruising to the Ba Lang Canal; stop at an orchard to enjoy the seasonal fruit before returning to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 6 – Saigon - Dalat (B,L)
Have breakfast at hotel, then we proceed to Da Lat. A romantic city with extinct volcanic cones, endless pin forest with beautiful lakes, flower valleys and imposing natural landscapes. Stop at Bao Loc town for lunch.
Continue your journey to Da Lat. Arrive in Da Lat and check in hotel. Enjoy a leisure walk down to the central lake for your own taste of this beautiful highland city. You can shopping around Da Lat night market. Enjoy a special see snail dish and hot soya, peanut, green bean milk in cold weather. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 7 – Dalat (B)
Today you will take a tour of Dalat and the surrounding areas. We will visit Bao Dai Palace (Palace III). From here you visit the rather bizarre and very aptly named Crazy House, a brightly painted concrete house which winds itself around trees, mimicking their shapes. It now functions as a guesthouse. Next visit is Truc Lam Meditation pagoda. In the afternoon for those interested can take the short train ride on the Cremaillere railways to the village of Trai Mat. Next stop Linh Phuoc Dragon Pagoda before proceed to hotel. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 8 – Dalat - Lak lake (B)
After breakfast and coffee at hotel, we start our great trip with poetic foggy city- Da Lat,a unique beauty, which is famous for beautiful special architures with combination of Western style and Highland style, built in French colonial period ( 17th century). Throughout our trip, we will stop to visit specific attractions in Da Lat, such as Crazy house (listed in one of the most bizarre houses in the world by People’s daily), weasel coffee, Silk factory, Elaphant waterfall. Then, we continue our trip on Highway 27 (the main route) to Lak Lake. On the way, you will ides with bendy long passes, immense green forests filled with scattered hamlets of minority people addicted by attracted nature beauty on the sle, particularly tropical fruit farms. Arriving to Lak Lake, we will spend our great first night with new experience in House on stilts of Mnong people. Plus, we have local specific diner and wine of Mnong people. Overnight in Lak lake.
Day 9 – Lak lake - Buon Me Thuot (B)
After breakfast at restaurant, we continue our trip on back of adorable elephants walking along lakes to explore forests view and minority villages where you can relax and take great pictures. To continue the trip, professional tour guide leads you drive on a trail across forests and remote village to Dray Nur Waterfalls (the biggest waterfalls in Vietnam). On the way, we will also stop to visit cacao plantation, highland school with cute innocent pupils, minority hamlets.
When we arrive to Dray Nur waterfall, you can feel how imposing Dray Nur is with 250m in length and 30m in height. Take a rest and relax at the waterfall while taking photos and wallowing in cool wild water, which help you to break all your stress and tiredness of the long day.
After that, we will drive back to capital of Vietnam coffee- Buon Me Thuot. On the way, we will visit a amazing traditional craft village. After trip, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Buon Me Thuot.
Day 10 – Buon Me Thuot - fly to Danang - Hoian (B)
To start our last day trip, we continue to explore capital of coffee in Vietnam, Buon Me Thuot. During period of dominating Vietnam, French brings with them coffee, pepper, rubber into Vietnam. And, Buon Me Thuot was chosen to be the first place for their experiment. As a result, many plantations of coffee, rubbers, and pepper was set up and Buon Me Thuot became the capital of Vietnam coffee up to now.
Day 11 – Farmer to Fisherman in Hoian town - Hoian walking (B,L)
After breakfast, at 8.30 am pick you up at your hotel, riding to the beautiful village over small beautiful narrow roads to visit countryside life views such as rice paddle fields, water buffalos, bamboo bridges, local farmers on farming shrimp on the daily works. Learning and sharing local farming life experience with local the farmer at a vegetable village such as hoeing sand, watering vegetable….
Getting on board to arriving the Mouth of the Cua Dai Sea where the end of Hoian river meets the sea, getting to along the coastline visiting the local fishing life. Learning and sharing fishing experience with local fishermen by joining and catching fish with unique fishing nets

Back to the town after lunch, we will enjoy few hour walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Hoian is also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to have a new wardrobe made up; this is the time to do it.
Day 12 – Hoian free at leisure (B)
You are free at leisure today.
There are lots of things that you can do in Hoian. The Cua Dai beach - a long and white sand is just a short distance from the hotels where you can swim and relax. Cycling in this peaceful town is also a memorable experience as you discover the old town and its nearby handicraft village (Kim Bong carpenter village, Tra Que herb planting village) or Myson Holy Land…..
Most of hotels in Hoian provide bicycle for free up to availability or for rent with low cost.
Hoi An is also very famous for clothes and shoes tailor – made with high quality and very reasonable prices
Day 13 – Hoian - Danang - Hue (B)
Leave Hoian in the morning, drive northward to Hue over the 500m high Hai Van pass. From top of the pass, on nice days, you can enjoy the whole vista of Danang, the Tien Sa seaport, Son Tra Peninsula, Cham island and long sandy beaches. A stop at scenic beach of Lang Co for a drink before proceeds to Hue.
Upon Hue arrival, we continue to discover Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy… In the late afternoon, we take a short boat trip to visit Thien Mu Pagoda situated by Perfume River. You will be transferred to hotel for check-in.
Day 14 – Hue full day tour (B)
Today your guide and driver pick up you at your hotel to explore the rural countryside surrounding Hue. Leaving the former Royal Capital to Thanh Toan village, a quintessential Vietnamese village with a picturesque covered Japanese-style bridge built during the reign of Emperor Le Hien Tong in the mid-18th century. Your guide will explain the history behind the bridge plus there will be time to visit the village’s small museum and interact with the local population.
Continuing to Damchuong Lagoon, an ancient village with more than 600 years of history. Of note is the village temple, which was recognised as a national relic in 1994 and typical of the architectural style during the Nguyen Dynasty period, and the nearby local market. But the highlight for many is the wonderfully situated Chuon lagoon. A world away from the regular tourist circuit and part of the breathtaking Tam Giang lagoon system, Chuon lagoon is an important source of fishing and income for the local residence. Boarding a small motorised sampan, you will cruise around this peaceful pool of water, joint catching fish with fishermand, stopping at stilt houses here and there to meet with local families and learn about their daily lives. Have lunch at Tam Giang Lagoon, enjoy a simple yet delicious brunch of Khoai Cake (Hue style Vietnamese Pancakes) will be served before returning to the shore and transfer back to Hue.
Day 15 – Hue - fly to Hanoi (B)
Have breakfast, visit the Royal Tombs of Minh Mang king and Tu Duc king, then you will be transferred to Hue airport for your flight to Hanoi.
Upon your arrival in Hanoi, we recommend that you have free to to discover Hanoi's Old Quarter by yourself. After all, the history of Hanoi goes back over 2,000 years, and the Old Quarter in particular has a rich, ancient history. Next you will be visiting the Hoa Lo Prison, later known to American prisoners of the Vietnam War as the Hanoi Hilton. This place is most famous for holding the American pilots that were shot down over Vietnam. You will then be taken to Hoan Kiem Lake. Hoan Kiem Lake is to Hanoi what Central Park is to New York City. Walking around the lake you will see the Huc Bridge which leads to the Ngoc Son Temple. You will be visiting this temple which also harbors a preserved specimen of the lake's giant tortoise.
Day 16 – Hanoi – Mai Chau – Xo Village (B,L,D)
8h30: leave Hanoi for Mai Chau. After 4-hr beautiful bus ride we reach Pom Coong, a village of the Thai ethnic minority in Mai Chau valley. Lunch in Pom Coong Village. In the afternoon we take light walk on village road to Xo, a village of the Thai ethnic minority. Dinner and overnight in a local house.
Day 17 – Xo Village – Buoc Village – Van Village (B,L,D)
After breakfast at the home stay we say goodbye to the host and walk to Buoc Village. On the way we would see villagers working on rice paddies and children going to school. Lunch on the way. In the afternoon, we will reach the beautiful village of Van. We will spend the second night with a local family.
Day 18 – Van Village – Buoc Village – Van Mai Village – Hanoi (B,L)
After breakfast at the home stay, we walk on village roads which run between mountains and rice paddies. We reach our lunch stop, Van Mai Village, around 11:30am. Lunch in a local house before taking a bus ride back to Hanoi. We would arrive in Hanoi around 5.30pm. Trip completes in Hanoi.
Day 19 – Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before setting out on a 3 to 4 hour drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Halong Bay. Spend 24 hours on a traditional Junk Cruise in the amazing bay: a natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters. Arrive at the dock around noon and board your junk. Savor a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as you sail out into the mystical bay. In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands, including Dinh Huong and Ga Choi. Along the way visit one of the bay’s 3 largest caves (Thien Cung, Dau Go or Sung Sot). Stop at an island cove with a sheltered white-sand beach and take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf of Tonkin (weather permitting). Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters.
Day 20 – Halong Bay - Hanoi (B)
Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay as you navigate back to Halong City. Your driver will meet you at the Halong jetty and take you back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 21 – Hanoi Departure (B)
Have breakfast at the hotel then enjoy the free day at your leisure before driving to the airport to catch your return flight home.
