Day 1 – Saigon arrival (D)
Welcome to Vietnam’s financial hub: Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Arrive in the late morning and enjoy an orientation tour through Saigon’s bustling streets en route to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to recover from jet lag and explore the city on your own.

Day 2 – Saigon city - Cu Chi (B)
Have breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up for a day tour ahead.
We drive to Cu Chi Tunnel which is only 70km from the center of Saigon. This place was called “Iron Triangle” by American during the war and actually it stood as a stronghold of Vietcong (Vietnamese Army) for almost 30 years despite of many American bombs and military actions. A walk underground the tunnels will help you understand how the Vietnamese people had fought and won the war.
This afternoon, you will visit Ho Chi Minh City:
Gain an insight into the city’s development through a walking tour to the most significant landmarks including the Opera House, the Town Hall, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office in the French quarter before visiting the Reunification Palace outside and the War Museum continuing with the visit to the Tan Dinh market and the holly Jade Emperor Pagoda, put the end to the tour by the learning of making lacquer at the handicap- handicrafts Lacquerware Factory ( this option is flexible if time permits, please advise your Tour Guide during the tour). Overnight in Saigon.
Day 3 – Saigon – Ben Tre – Saigon – fly to Hue (B)
Depart Saigon after breakfast, driving two-hours to reach Ben Tre. Pick up at Hung Vuong Pier then take a boat on Ben Tre River – one of tributaries of Mekong River, Sight-seeing lively activities along river as fishing, water transferring…..Stop at brickwork to see how to make bricks in handy traditional style by printing and baking. Visit one of the plenty of coconut processing workshops where the people to open coconut by hand (husking coconut), coconut candies are made and have a chance to learn the coconut candies making process located along canal, taste tropical fruit, honey tea. Turn on natural scissors creeks where they look smaller and smaller to go to village. Take a walk to family workshop making sleep mats. Afterward, You have option: the first one: being on a cart powered by a motorbike, The second one is biking (4km or longer) and traveling through some tranquil villages where vegetables gardens to be able to touch on real life and find out about tropical culture from Peasants.
Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, take a rowing-boat along water palm creek and boat back to Hung Vuong Pier. Then we drive back Saigon airport for your flight to Hue.
Upon your arrival in Hue, you will transferred to hotel in the center. Check in and relax.
Day 4 – Hue full day tour (B)
Spend the morning on a private boat cruise down the romantic Perfume River to visit the Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) and the Imperial Citadel, home to the Imperial City and Forbidden Purple City – once the Emperor's private residence. The Imperial City was created in the 19th century and modeled on the Forbidden City in Beijing. The Imperial Enclosure houses many palaces and temples within its walls.
Enjoy lunch at restaurant, visit the Royal Tombs of Minh Mang king and Tu Duc king, then you will be transferred back to hotel. Overnight in Hue
Day 5 – Hue - Danang - Hoian (B)
Leave Hue in the morning, drive Southward to Hoi An (140km) with a stop at scenic beach of Lang Co for a drink then drive over the 500m high Hai Van pass. From top of the pass, on nice days, you can enjoy the whole vista of Danang, the Tien Sa seaport, Son Tra Peninsula, Cham island and long sandy beaches. You can also stop to visit Mable Mountain before proceeding to Hoi An. Check in your hotel.
Day 6 – Hoian walking - Tra Que village (B,L)
Morning cycling to Tra Que village - the little charming vegetable village located on the edge of Hoian town. The village is famous for its sweet scented & green vegetables that spice up on the daily meals of Hoian people: Cao Lau and Quang noodles. The country road to Tra Que winds through rice paddies and timeless rural landscapes. At Tra Que see traditional gardening of herbs and vegetables. Cycling backs to Hoian town -Known as Faifo to early Western traders, it was one of South East Asia’s major international ports and today it still retains that special old-world feel.
We will enjoy few hour walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Hoian is also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to have a new wardrobe made up; this is the time to do it.
Day 7 – Hoian - fly to Hanoi - city (B)
Have breakfast at hotel, you will transferred to Danang airport for your flight to Hanoi.
Upon your arrival, you will explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas; Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Our city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and stilt house); the Presidential Palace; the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Old Quarter; the Temple of Literature; West Lake; the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and one of the city's museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum).
Day 8 – Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before setting out on a 3 to 4 hour drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Halong Bay. Spend 24 hours on a traditional Junk Cruise in the amazing bay: a natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters. Arrive at the dock around noon and board your junk. Savor a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as you sail out into the mystical bay.
In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands, including Dinh Huong and Ga Choi. Along the way visit one of the bay’s 3 largest caves (Thien Cung, Dau Go or Sung Sot). Stop at an island cove with a sheltered white-sand beach and take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf of Tonkin (weather permitting). Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters.
Day 9 – Halong Bay – Hanoi – Departure (B)
Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay as you navigate back to Halong City. Your driver will meet you at the Halong jetty and take you to Hanoi airport to catch your return flight home.
