Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Viet Hai Village - Dark and Bright Cave

08:15 – 08:45: Travel from Hanoi to Halong Bay- Scarlet Pearl Cruise limousines will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and Hanoi Opera House area to depart for Ha Long (for guests who have booked shuttle service). The travel time from Hanoi to Ha Long in the direction of highway 5B only takes about 2-2.5 hours.11:30: Welcome to Scarlet Pearl Cruise- Arrive at the check-in area at HaLong International Cruise Port. Transfer to the Scarlet Pearl Cruise by speedboat.- After boarding, you will be welcomed on board by the beverage staff, briefed on the cruise, including safety instructions on board before you check in. The boat gradually moves to the Lan Ha Bay area while you enjoy a hearty lunch at Tahiti restaurant.Afternoon:15:00: Visiting Viet Hai Village- We start to visit the first place which is Viet Hai village on the pearl island of Cat Ba, where you can choose to ride a bicycle or take a tram along the romantic road to enter the village. Here, we will meet and interact with local people, learn about their daily life.- If you do not want to visit Viet Hai, you can choose to stay on the Scarlet Pearl Cruise to swim and kayak at the rear of the boat. Please note, if you have chosen to visit Viet Hai, you will not have enough time to swim and kayak.- After that, we will take you back to the Scarlet Pearl and immerse yourself in the dreamy sunset on board.17:30: Cruise Culinary Demos and Classes- We will enjoy a cooking demonstration held in the restaurant area. You will also have the opportunity to experience making Vietnamese dishes such as the fried / fresh spring rolls, with dedicated guidance from our staff and chef.Evening:19:00: Enjoy Dinner at Tahiti Restaurant- Enjoy dinner with a luxurious and unique a la carte menu at Tahiti restaurant.21:30: Evening activities- Guests can enjoy delicious drinks and admire the beautiful view at the bar (bar service is open until late).
